Trusting

"I can't see the forest for all the tree's."
This phrase has repeated itself in my mind for the past three or four weeks now over and over again. And every time it circles back through my brain, I can't help but think how absolutely true it is.
Sometimes, nothing makes any sense at all, everything seems to be muffled, or jumbled or blurry. Maybe things are too confusing for us to decipher the truth from the lies or maybe there is just no answer to some of the questions we desparately need answers to.
It's like when your standing in a patch of fog or a heavy rainshower and no matter where you look, you can't see anything accept the one thing that's keeping you from getting you where you need to go.

I don't think it's safe to say that I've found the answer on how to deal with situations like this, entirely. The only thing that I can draw from it thus far is, trust. Maybe God just wants us to trust Him more, and so He allows the rain to continue, beckoning for us to take His hand and let Him guide us, step by step, trusting that He can see what we can't, keeping our eyes on each, last footstep that He takes. And letting Him lead us to a place where the storm has calmed, and we can see the path again.
