Today after having a good day at church with some friends, my family and I went by Home Depot to pick up a rivet gun to fix the chimney with. While we were there I saw something that completely made my day.......you ready? Christmas trees....with lights. Yep. And ornaments, glowing rain deer, cinamon scented candles, the whole sha-bang. That along with the cold weather made me realize that were almost to Christmas time! After tomorrow just one more holiday to go and then we can break out the holly and hot cocoa. And I can listen to Christmas music until my hearts content without worrying about driving my family crazy, ( maybe ).
I've been trying my best not to think about it yet but I have to post about it today and at least enjoy it for a few minutes. Until I have to tuck it away again for another month or so.
Whether it's because my birthday and Chritmas are so close together or because of the jingle bells, glowing lights and happy memories, I don't know. But every time Christmas comes around my happyness level shoots way up. Call me cliche'. I don't care, it's one of my favorite things in the world and I can't wait until it's here again.
