If you are reading this then you've probably been reading my notes on FaceBook and have come here to continue reading. If so, thank you very much. Now that you've heard the whole story you'll get to hear how everything is going afterwards. As well as read about many more of the events going on in our family and community.
If you are new to this blog, just know that the community I live in has just gone through a devastating tornado about a month ago. And while it hasn't been easy, we are trusting God to supply everything we need.

As I have said before, the rebuilding process will take time. But as long as we have each other and the love of Christ we can make it through anything.

I heard this morning that The Cedar House, which is a place in our community where we used to do bible studies and was recently devastated by the tornadoes, will not be rebuilt right away. However the Crawford's and Liveret's houses will be. And I'm sure God will provide a place for us to meet.

During all of this recovery I am reminded of the story in the bible of Job. A man who God allowed to have much sorrow in his life. And who still praised God throughout it all. That is my prayer, that we would not be selfish and carnally minded, even though it is so easy for us to fall back into that way of life. But that we would remember the things that God has done for us, and the mercy He has bestowed upon us, and the love that He feels for us.
